A pioneer in pressfit technology, ERNI has driven forward development in this area of production technology. It’s the most cost-effective solution for a large number of applications, and for complex designs, where soldering is no longer an option, it’s the only one. The machines developed by ERNI combine assembly and pressfitting into a single operation, thus increasing productivity.

The frontiers between backplanes and systems are now becoming blurred, as we receive more and more orders to integrate subassemblies, cable applications and housings into complete systems.

Testing technology that’s made-to-measure
No board or system leaves ERNI without a final check on the integrity of connections and components. The most cost-effective testing technology is based on quantity: test adapters for prototypes, test computers for series production. For larger quantities, test boards developed in-house represent a good investment by cutting testing times in half. Moreover, all ERNI production sites are equipped with identical production and testing technology. That’s how we guarantee the same standards worldwide while maintaining extreme flexibility.
